Privacy policy Draft — pending legal review

The short version: your code stays in India, we collect the minimum we need to run the service, and we never sell or mine your data.

What we collect

• Account details — username, email address, and password (stored hashed). With Google sign-in we receive your name, email and avatar from Google.
• Your content — the repositories, issues and pull requests you host with us.
• Operational logs — IP addresses and request logs, kept only as long as needed for security and debugging.

Where it lives

All customer data is stored in Bengaluru, India (DigitalOcean BLR1) — repositories, database and backups. Data residency is the reason Reponest exists.

What we never do

• Sell your data or your usage patterns. To anyone.
• Train models on, index, or mine your private repositories.
• Read private code except when you explicitly ask us to (support), or the law requires it.

Third parties

Google sign-in (if you use it) is governed by Google's own privacy policy. Payments, when they launch, will be processed by Razorpay/Stripe — card details never touch our servers.

Your controls

You can export every repository with a single git clone at any time — open formats, no lock-in. Deleting your account removes your data from live systems immediately and from backups on rotation.
